My Goals

I have goals for next year and I will hold myself to them. The three academic goals that I have for myself are to get all A’s next year, to study four hours a day, and to help other students out in the subject I’m good at. This is really important to me because my grades were good last year and were not what they should have been this year. So, I want to get back to where I was last year. It’s also important to study a lot because that’s how you make sure you know the material and it will help me to do well. Another thing that is important to me is helping my peers. If I can help some other students with their tougher subjects next year, I’d feel like I was making a difference.

            As far as personal goals, mine are to get a lot of community service done, to learn how to drive so that I can drive next year, and to find some ways to get back into acting in some way. The community service is very important because I do need it to graduate and it’s also just very good to do something to help others and I love helping out. Learning to drive is one thing that I absolutely have to learn to do. I’m moving over the summer, so I will have to get to school every day. Since my parents work, I have to learn how to drive so I can go back and forth. Lastly, I want to get back into acting because it’s one in life that I really love to do and know that I’m truly going to enjoy forever.

My Personal Achievements

Some personal achievements that I’ve had have been that I’ve been that I’ve done well in certain things that I’ve wanted to do outside of school. I figured out some ways to pursue that acting career that I want to have later on in life. I’ve also established a better relationship with my family which I’m proud of because they’re really important to me. My personal writing that I do in my free time has gotten much better this year. Now I feel more confident in submitting my work in the future. I also feel that I’ve gotten physically stronger this year because I’ve been so active. So, these little accomplishments have meant a lot to me this year. These are my personal achievements.

I chose this artifact because the model we ended up making out of this was really cool.We were making it into a cylinder. So, even though I do not have mine anymore I still wanted to use this as my artifact. I did really well on it and my teacher gave me a good grade. I'm proud that I chose this artifact.

I chose this artifact because it’s one of the only projects we did in Chinese class. I’m very satisfied with the work I did on this project. It was really fun to do because I got to talk about the Chinese culture. I was also able to discuss things with the class in Chinese without any English, which was challenging and fun. I’m glad I chose this artifact.

I chose this artifact because I learned a lot about the first world war and became fascinated by it. Before this, I didn’t really know exactly why and who started it. My teacher was very impressed with my work and it made me very glad that did my project on this topic. I think my class enjoyed my presentation very much, which is good because they learned a lot while I was presenting. This is why I chose this artifact.

I chose this artifact because the project the teacher gave us was really fun. We were able to get to know our classmates by telling about ourselves and our favorite things. I had a great time doing this project. If I had to do something different, I would have turned it in sooner but I do think I got a fair grade.

What is System of Linear Equations?

In mathematics, a system of linear equations (or linear system) is a collection of linear equations involving the same set of variables.

This is the cover to one of my projects for Algebra 2 class. I chose this project because I think I did very well on it for the amount of time I had to do it. My teacher was satisfied with the work that I did and thought i did a good job, which makes me very proud. Next time I think I would put more detail into it but I did do the best I could. This is why I chose this artifact.
